History
In 1999, Shifa Foundation opened an outpatient clinic in a room with one doctor and a nurse in Islamabad. By February of 2001, the space became very congested and to fulfill the needs of the growing number of patients, the clinic was shifted to a newly constructed 15-room building at a cost of Rupees two million. The new clinic which housed six specialties, cared for an average of 100 patients daily.
To offer complete healthcare to the needy, an In-patient facility was build to complement the outpatient clinic. 70 inpatient beds were constructed at a cost of Rs. 20 Million (US$348K, £ 200K). This was all done by the generous help of people like you.
Our Goal
We plan to develop and extend new facilities to cater for 500 outpatients and 200 inpatients in the following specialties:
Medicine
Surgery
Pediatric
Ophthalmology
Obs / Gyne
ENT
Dermatology
Pulmonology

That's why Shifa Foundation wants to give your individuals and organizations an option to be our partners in the expansion of the Falahee beds by putting your dear one's or your organization's name on it.
