35 years old male from Khushab had a 15 yrs history of increasing arm & leg weakness. He had spent his assets when he attended SFFC in Feb. 2010. He was found to have pressure on his cervical cord. This was surgically removed. His compliant of diarrhea & rectal prolapsed were attended. In April 2010 revisit, no significant improvement was noticed from surgery, but it may too early. Possibility of a coexisting neuromuscular disease like limb girdle dystrophy cannot be ruled-out. He is getting best care free supported by SFFC. |

Among the vast number of people who cannot afford medical treatment one was Farzana Zafar, who fell prey to a deadly fibroid in the uterus. She suffered for 2 years, and lost all hope, when a well-wisher referred her to SF.
Once here, Farzana was immediately admitted and was given relief by the empathetic and considerate doctors, who did her surgery free of cost.

SF doctors did her catartic surgery on 9th of Aug. 2007. Now she is coming for follow-up check-ups and is quite satisfied.is no alternate except bilateral amputations. Dissatisfied Amin Ullah brought his brother Waqas to Shifa Foundation on April 1, 2006. Since then the Shifa Foundation surgeons have been diligently working and have operated several times and Mr Amin Ullah is very happy that his brother’s legs have been saved. (Alhamdullah) we hope and pray that he walks soon. |
